What's New?

 

11th November 2020

We appreciate you are probably weary of the current situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout this crisis we have continually put your safety first in all our decisions. We now believe it will be next spring before we can confidently travel safely again and have suspended all tour operations until 2nd April 2021.

 

So what will happen after this date? Well, we don’t anticipate the world will just ‘go back to normal’. Hotels and venues may no longer be trading. We are however, working hard to ensure that we will have the right travel and accommodation options that you can book with confidence.

 

Printing and postage costs are significant. Please don’t think because we are not sending brochures/mail shots (that may prove useless anyway) that we don’t care. Quality and value are the foundation on which we build this business and we intend to still be here in 2021 to continue that mantra.

 

We wish you well and miss you all. We will be in touch as soon as we can provide some concrete information.

Lots of exciting news this week! First, our Ropers Coach holidays for 2020 have been released for sale on our website, ready and waiting for your bookings. This will be followed by the Ropers 2020 brochure, which will be posted to you shortly.  And last, but by no means least, we are delighted to announce the arrival of our long awaited The River Cruise Collection , featuring our new own Explore, Tour & Cruise river cruise with Fred.Olsen, available to book right now by telephoning 01691 774171.

The new brochure has now arrived in our office and is ready to post. Look out for your copy over the next week. If you can't wait, you will find the digital brochure on our website and all the tours are available to book online too!

16th November 2017

The 2018 brochure is being printed as we speak and we hope it will be with you shortly. In the meantime we have added the digital version of the brochure to our website for you to view online.  If you have travelled with us recently, don't worry, you don't need to request your brochure, it will be posted to you automatically.  If you have never travelled with us before, or haven't travelled recently, let us know and we will send a copy out to you as soon as we receive it from the printers.  All of our tours have been added to the website so you can check availability and book online if you're too eager to wait for the brochure dropping through your letterbox.

If you are on our mailing list then the 2017 brochure will be dropping through your letterbox very soon. If you haven't travelled with us before then you can request your very own copy using the links above or telephoning the office on our FREEPHONE number 0800 121 7973.  All the tours will be added to the website over the next couple of days and will be available to book online.

Our 2017 tour programme is nearly ready and should be with you sometime in September.  With new tours, new hotels and lots of included excurisons plus some of our old favourites we think it's our best yet and we hope you see something you'll enjoy.

Our brand new 2016 brochure is now available to view online. It's crammed full of fantastic tours so watch this space as they are added to the website over the next few days.  Book by telephone, book online or visit your local travel agent.  Brochures will be landing on your doormat in the New Year.

We have just taken delivery of our new winter brochure so watch out for it landing on your doormat this week!  It offers some late availability and lots of brand new tours for Autumn amd Winter, including our Christmas Cracker.  It also has a sneak preview of our 2016 tour programme, so save the dates!

We have just added a new pick up point!  We will now be picking up at Halifax bus station, stand E3. This stand is under cover and the bus station has toilets, telephones and a newsagents.

We are now using Bradford Interchange to pick up passengers.  This will offer a more pleasant environment to wait with a cafe, toilets, newsagent and seating area, all undercover to protect you from inclement weather.  This will replace the Nelson Street pick up.
